We started the year with four roommates as Zach, Becca, Murphy, and Jameson were waiting for their next steps. 2024 Sunset Terrace Drive was filled to the roof!
We enjoyed their company for a whole year!
By mid year we decided to move to Charlotte, and my mom, Diane, moved on to her heavenly home. 30+ Kellogg relatives met at the beach!

Goodbyes are filled with laughter and tears. Here are Catherine and her Bunco Babe friends, who had started this group in the early 2000’s.
The Breakfast Club. This group has met for Friday breakfast for more than 14 years. They honored Catherine’s departure with crowns and necklaces and tears. The restaurant crew even gave Catherine a signed travel mug!
The worst part of goodbye!
I still tear up looking at this picture. We have been back to Florida several times already with many more planned.

Moving to Mint Hill, NC, meant moving in with my dad. And that meant “engineering” some garage shelving, bathroom shelves, and a dresser from IKEA. Catherine was glad to have a mechanical and electrical engineer working on these jobs.
Our former roommates live close enough for us to babysit overnight. They are settled into their new home, and jobs, and school.

Cath’s niece, Tim’s daughter, Lily, got married in Texas and we had a wonderful time celebrating that weekend. Tim and Heather showered us with great Texan hospitality.
All the Kellogg boys were together for Thanksgiving in North Carolina.

Friends and family, as we enter this new year, please pray with us that God will reveal where we are to move (my dad is currently renting, and we are currently living with him). We are looking in the Mint Hill/Matthews area of Charlotte. Catherine will be helping with a college winter conference over MLK weekend, please pray for her to serve our staff and students well. And join us in thanking the Lord for all of the ways He has lead us to this point in our lives and ministry!
