Your Faithfulness is the Reason
It is amazing (and exciting) to say that, as of this summer, Andy and I have now been on the staff of Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ) for 40 years!!! We both got involved in the ministry of Cru while in college (Andy at Virginia Tech, me at University of Connecticut). We both joined Cru staff in the summer of 1984. We were both assigned to work at Cru’s world headquarters, which at the time was in San Bernardino, California. Since then we have moved twice, raised three girls, seen each of them get married, and have welcomed four grand babies!! And all along, we have seen the amazing faithfulness of God.
We are immeasurably thankful for your part in our longevity with Cru. Thank you for your prayers, thank you for your partnership. Thank you for allowing us to follow God’s calling on our lives. A number of you have been a part of our ministry team for all 40 years. Each and everyone of you is a blessing to us.
Your Continued Faithfulness is Helping Us Open Our New Chapter
By the time you receive this letter, we will have left our home of 24 years and have moved to the Charlotte area. Becca, Zach, Murphy and Jameson moved two weeks ago into their new home outside of Spartanburg, SC. You may remember that Andy’s mom passed away in April, and now we are moving in with Andy’s dad, Doug. It is our goal to settle in with him, help him to go through mom’s possessions and then seek, in earnest, a more permanent place for the three of us near Charlotte.
It has been quite hard to leave Cady, Kevin, Khloe and Rylie in Orlando. It’s been difficult and emotional to leave friends. It will be different to work from home all of the time, get involved with a new church, and find the “new normal.” Yet, we know, without a doubt, that God is in this. We feel fully lead by God to begin this new chapter, while continuing the work with Cru to which God has called us. Please make a note of our new address over on the right of this page. Our phone numbers and email addresses will not change.
Again, thank you for your faithfulness to us, and to the Lord! We could not do this alone.
