Spring is here, I see all the signs — bright green leaves, flowers, the sound of lawn mowers and the smell of orange blossoms. The signs all point toward life being renewed and summer being on its way.
Signs of God’s Blessings
In March our college ministry had their National Leadership Conference. Andy’s team sent technicians to service the computers of those in attendance — it was a huge success. Our leadership felt ministered to and appreciated.
Pete Kelly, Cru Dir. of Development, shared that the 2012—2013 academic year was “the most fruitful year evangelistically in the history of campus ministry!” And, this current year of ministry is on pace to surpass last year!!! This past semester (fall 2013):
* 5.1 million students and faculty heard the gospel.
* 73,931 of those people become followers of Jesus.
* 15,817 Cru students are regularly talking about their faith.
* There are now Cru ministries at 2612 campuses in the U.S.
We are thrilled that Becca is an active part of these statistics, leading a women’s Bible Study on the UCF campus, sharing her faith and growing in her own walk with God.
We are also seeing signs of God’s blessings as Becca and Rachel are doing much better than a year ago. Becca will be spending the entire summer in Juneau, Alaska, on a Cru summer missions project. She will be getting a “day job” in the tourist area of Juneau, and then spending the evenings and weekends in discipleship, Bible Study and evangelism activities.
Rachel has many hopes for the summer — to spend a week in Mexico along with 20 others from our church, to get a job at our local ChikFilA, and to work on her volleyball and lacrosse skills.
You are a huge part of God’s blessing to us, allowing us to continue ministry on His behalf.

- Andy is continuing to settle into his new job in Digital Strategies. Please pray for wisdom as he leads his new team, and decides which projects they will/won’t be working on.
- Kevin is looking for a job in his area of study, human resources. Pray for God’s leading and a good, solid job.
- Cady is now the Salon Leader of a nearby Hair Cuttery. Pray for a smooth transition and good relationships with the stylists.
- Becca is looking to finish her semester well. Please pray for her summer in Alaska.
- Rachel is also making plans for summer. Pray for her last weeks of class.
- Please continue to pray for me to find God’s direction for me.
